Fundarte Latinoamerica

The Director’s Committee of Fundarte Latinoamerica considers it necessary to legalize the membership for all those visual artists, persons related with culture, admirers of the arts and whomever else wishes to participate in the organization.

The membership will be based primarily on the cooperation, dedication and sacrifice in the development of the outlined activities. At the same time the organization will watch over the compliance of the members, giving preference and facilities to the members for all the activities that they develop in the cultural ambience.

Automatically all those persons that have participated in the diverse activities of the organization may be accepted as members, previously approved by the organizing committee, within the statutes of our organization.

It is important to mention, based on previous experience, Fundarte Latinoamerica will work exclusively for its members.

The membership will be based on three categories, each with a flexible cost per year which can be paid annually, quarterly or monthly by any legal means (bank, post-dated cheques, credit cards, etc.). The funds will be considered as a contribution exclusively for the obtaining of a physical space as headquarters of Fundarte Latinoamerica.

Categories and costs of the membership:

MEMBERSHIP - TYPE A-  $ 96.00 CDN / Year

A. Artist Members being all those who produce works in any of the visual arts, residents or not of Canada, will pay a membership of $ 96.00 per year, or $ 8.00 per month.

MEMBERSHIP - TYPE B - $60.00 CDN / Year

B. Non-artist Members who are friends of Fundarte, admirers of the arts, and supporters of the cultural aims that guide our organization, will pay a membership of $60.00 CDN per year or  $ 5.00 CDN per month.

MEMBERSHIP - TYPE C - $300.00 CDN / Year

C. Company Members, that is those persons that have companies, businesses or are professionals who represent commercial enterprises as sponsors, will pay a membership of $300.00 CDN per year / or $ 25.00 CDN per month.

MEMBERSHIP - TYPE D

D. This special category is for persons or businesses that will eventually collaborate with Fundarte without becoming members.

Benefits for the members:

1. Each Artist Member will appear in our website with a page which will include 4 colour photographs of their work and a history of the artist or of the work.

2. Each Artist Member can have a link to their own website on the same page as in item 1 above.

3. All Artist Members will have preference in participating in national or international events organized by Fundarte or any other organization that invites our organization to participate, based on the internal overseeing of Fundarte Latinoamerica.

4. All members will have a 30% discount in the subscription for cultural events organized by Fundarte.

5. Artist Members will have preference, if they so wish, in participating as art instructors for workshops organized by Fundarte, earning an income of approximately $20.00 per hour.

6. Non Artist Members and Company Members will be able to put a link to their website, logo or certain information related to their company, in the space to be used for this effect on our website. The logo of the company will appear in all catalogues, publicity and news to the media (if they so permit) that Fundarte Latinoamerica does for its cultural activities.

7. All members, without exception, have the right to write articles related to cultural in general that can be published in a section of the website.
