Jorge Bolaños

Jorge Bolaños was born in San Salvador, El Salvador in 1966.   He moved to Canada in 1984 with his family and has since resided in the Mississauga area.  Mr. Bolaños studied at the Art Academy of Jorge Figueroa in Montreal, Quebec.  His works focus on the theme of sacrifice and hope and reflect his life experiences while aiming to avoid any preconceived judgements on neither history nor its participants.  Mr. Bolaños’ primary medium of expression is through figurative abstract forms in oil and acrylics.
